What we’re about
The Vancouver Thunderbirds, a mixed a cappella chorus singing four-part close harmony, are looking for singers to join us in creating an emotional connection with our audience through song. Men and women whose voices fit our chorus sound are welcome (Countertenor, Tenor, Baritone & Bass).
We meet every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm at St Faiths Anglican Church, 7284 Cypress Street (57th Avenue & West Boulevard).
We love having guests at our Wednesday evening rehearsals! If you want to join us, our system of audition, part-learning music tracks and sectional practice will get you up and singing with the chorus in no time.

Do you like to sing? Looking to sing during the Christmas season, then come join the Vancouver Thunderbird’s Christmas Chorus, a mixed chorus that sings in the Barbershop style.
Rehearsals start October 9 and go every Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:45pm at St Faith's Anglican Church, 57th & Cyprus. We will be singing 15 seasonal songs, all a cappella style. We will provide a binder of our songs as well as access to Learning Tracks to help with the learning process.
For the first rehearsal, you'll need a voice placement with our director to ensure you can sing in the range of our material, but most people can. If you like, there is the possibility to perform with the chorus, with the Director’s approval, at many of our planned community performances including our Christmas Show on December 14th.
