Route Description:
The Western loop goes through “village” of Dundarave, Memorial Park, Dundarave Park and along Centennial Seawalk. The Eastern loop goes through “villages” of Ambleside, Park Royal and along the edge of Ambleside Park. Both loops have interesting shops and eateries, and offer great views of English Bay and Vancouver.

Park for free in the 1400 or 1500 block of Argyle Avenue (no time limit on Sundays) or in the 1400 or 1500 block of Duchess Ave, 2 blocks north of Marine Drive (no time limit).

Walkers will register (sign in) at the start point between 9:30 am and 9:55 am. The walk will start at 10:00 am sharp. Please be on time; we do not wait for latecomers.

Immediately following the walk, you may wish to join some of your fellow club members at the nearby lunch venue.

Route Description:
Walk goes through residential areas and Memorial South Park. We will also walk through Mountain View Cemetery (“Where Vancouver Remembers”) - opened in 1886. Some famous Canadians are buried here. We will see the main part of the cemetery and the Jewish, Japanese and Chinese parts of the cemetery. For the 10K, there is an option to walk outside of the cemetery.

Discover what makes Tsawwassen so livable. Walk through Beach Grove where life is “in the slow lane”, pass by golf courses and through nice neighbourhoods. You will be challenged physically and rewarded visually with farm and mountain views. Sunny Tsawwassen awaits exploration.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION:
A very nice addition to our Richmond Series of walks. A flat (as all Richmond walks are) relaxing walk in Central Richmond. Getting to walk in Garden City Community Park is always a treat with the lagoons and waterfowl to enjoy. The 10K route saves the best for last as we walk a few kilometres on the Shell Road Trail. This rural trail, hidden amongst some interesting neighbourhoods, is a calming walk on a tree-lined (really a tunnel of trees) trail. A very interesting walk to explore. This is one of 11 walks n our “Explore Richmond” series. "Come Walk With Us”.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION:
This walk will go along English Bay, up the stairs to Ferguson Point past the Teahouse Restaurant. We will then walk along several trails in the old growth forests where you will see some of the oldest trees in the park. Return via the Seawall going clockwise to Coal Harbour.
There are two 5K routes: (i) mostly around the east side of the Seawall and back via the Rose Garden (ii) trails to Beaver Lake, then the Aquarium and back via the Seawall.

Route Description:
Come to Ladner and experience the residential, historical, and community infrastructures of this small community. You will pass by a hospital, community centre, firehall and last but not least, an active Augustinian monastery. Historic structures include the Harris Barn and Kirkland House. Notably, the “Forest of the Future” Garden was funded by a pair of Volkssporting pioneers. This is one of the most diverse walks offered in South Delta. The 6 km is the Pioneers Walk; 5 km is the Essential Workers Walk.

Route Description: This walk really has everything and is worth the effort to get to Steveston. A must see. Come Walk With Us and see this interesting little village, see some fantastic museums that you will want to explore further when you have the time and walk part of the 35 km of dykes that are in Richmond. This is one of 11 walks in our “Explore Richmond” series.
