I'll be waiting INSIDE the Starbucks. Mostly we'll hike BCMC. This hike is safe but not easy, so it is not a group event. You hike at your own pace with others who are as fast as you are. If I decide to hike F&F or Larsen, I'll post it in comments in advance. Depending on group/weather/my whim we can go up using any of the trails. For F&F trail you have to wear shoes with good traction, and be willing to climb some rocks with mild exposure. Trail is rather steep. For F&F we need to hike together (4hrs at my pace). The pace will be slow moderate, but not extremely slow. Please bring 10 essentials and in winter microspikes/crampons (https://www.outdoorvancouver.ca/resources/general-safety-the-ten-essentials/#ten). We'll leave at 10:00 am sharp. I might cancel this hike 24 hours before the start time, if I have better plans for the day. CARPOOLING POLICY: 1. Carpooling requests should be made by comment with your RSVP. 2. Please remember to reimburse your driver. The suggested rate is $5 per passenger per hour of driving time, and up to $8 per hour on rough logging roads, and in adverse conditions, at the discretion of the driver. This helps to cover fuel, maintenance and wear and tear 3. If the trip is less than one hour, please pay your driver $5 regardless. 4. Unless you have made one-way arrangement in advance with the driver, your return trip should be paid in advance, at the start of the trip. You should not expect a refund if you cancel your ride home. 5. Please put muddy hiking boots in a clean plastic bag and change into runners after the event/activity.
