If you sign up to attend, please bring at least one ball and lines in case needed. The signups for this event are limited, so RSVP early if you plan to attend. The cutoff time for this event is 3:00pm, if you are signed up after that time then you are committed to attending. If you cannot attend, please try to change your RSVP prior to 3:00pm on Thursday. If you find out you cannot attend after 3:00pm, please send a message to Liz, the organizer, so she can contact people on the waitlist if there are any. Have fun and be safe! Thank you.

Welcome to Saturday AM volleyball! MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL BELOW:

Basic event rules: If you are going to play, you MUST RSVP before showing up for the event (space is limited). The cutoff time is 8:00pm on Friday. If you are still on the waitlist after that time, do not come out you won't be allowed to play. No 'Walk Ons'. To be fair to those on the waitlist, if you have signed up for the event and choose not to attend, you must cancel your RSVP prior to 8pm (baring emergency, illness, or other urgent matter). Failure to follow these rules and other rules for the Group may result in you being blocked from the event and/or removed from the Group. The number of attendees is limited to 25. Our level of play is Intermediate. Invited guests must also be at an intermediate level of play and must accompany the member to play. Bring lots of fluids to stay hydrated. Attendees are expected to bring at least one ball and please bring lines in case needed.

Looking to take your beach volleyball game to the next level? This group is designed exclusively for intermediate players who are committed to improving their skills, specifically working on the fundamentals of competitive play. Whether you're preparing for tournaments or just want to sharpen your techniques, this is the perfect environment to practice and learn.

What to expect:
🏐 Two Courts:
• Court 1: Dedicated strictly to 2 vs. 2 games for intense focus on positioning, strategy, and individual skill development.
• Court 2: Limited to 4 vs. 4, with no more than four players on each side to keep the pace high and skill-focused.

🌴 Sand Volleyball Rules Enforced:
All games will follow official beach volleyball rules to ensure that you're learning and playing by the standards of the sport. This Meetup is meant to be a training ground where you can enhance your game in a fun but competitive atmosphere.

Sara is now the host for Tuesdays. Tuesdays are for advanced doubles ONLY. You must be advanced with an understanding of Beach Volleyball rules to play. Depending on the numbers, up to four players may need to sit each round.

The format is doubles with up to 12 players. Games to 15. In each round, eight people play, and up to four sit. There will be a winner's court and a play-in court. After each round, the losing teams will sit the following round and mix up partners. The winning teams will play against each other in the following round. After a team wins three games in a row on the winner's court, they will move off the winner's court and sit the next round, leaving the other team on the winner's court to stay and play.

We will pick teams based on rolling only in the beginning. After that, you will have to pick your teammate.

Please bring at least one ball and lines if needed by the group.

Players on the waitlist are welcome to come but understand you might not play.

The park has public restrooms and a play area for the kids. As we move into cooler weather, bring warm clothes, sand socks, and plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. Most importantly, have fun and be safe!
