Vedic Ontario- Meditation, Yoga and other Dharmic Practices

Join us every Friday at 6:30 pm at the ISKCON Ottawa temple (or Strathcona Park during the summer) for mantra meditation. We sing the transcendental names of the Lord in a devotional mood through Kirtan (call and response chanting). Simply come in, grab a cushion and meditate on the supreme. There is usually some snacks afterwards with time for associating with spiritually like-minded folks.

Experience the culture of the oldest surviving living civilization in the world in a 2-hour program that is open to all! We begin with Aarti (prayerful ceremony), followed by a discourse on spiritual topics, followed by Kirtan (call and response chanting), and finally top it off with a sumptuous Prasadam (vegetarian meal offered to God first).

This is a weekly ISKCON Ottawa event, which I will use this platform to promote. It really is a wonderful program to come to and ask questions about Dharma and associate with spiritually like-minded folks. I try to go there every Sunday, so if you need a ride, please do let me know.

Join us every Thursday at 6:30 pm as we delve into the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, a timeless and revered text that has enlightened countless minds through the ages. We take turns reading the passages and jointly discuss them after each reading. If you RSVP, the link to join the session will be visible to you. You'll receive a reminder email with the session link on the day of the reading. During the session, we'll share the link to the specific passage we're exploring in the Zoom chat. So all you have to do is simply show up and participate as we try to understand, reflect and apply these timeless teachings to our lives.
