**Kicking off January 2025 with Vegan Glasgow's 3rd Potluck!**

We’re thrilled to bring the event back to the vegan-friendly venue, **[The Old Hairdresser’s](http://www.theoldhairdressers.com/)**.

Supporting local vegan spots is always rewarding, and our last gathering here was a huge success. With a stage available, musicians are more than welcome to bring their instruments and share a performance with the group! I’ll be bringing my acoustic guitar along. **What is a Potluck?**
A Potluck is a social gathering where everyone brings a dish to share, instead of dining out at a restaurant. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a variety of foods while connecting with others.

**What should I bring?**
Please remember to bring the following:

* A plate and cutlery for yourself
* A dish to share
* Any necessary serving utensils (e.g., a spoon for your dish)
* A small contribution towards room hire (£1-£2)
* Money for a drink from the bar (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
* A container for any leftovers you’d like to take home

**What type of food should I bring?**
We encourage you to try cooking something, but if that’s not your thing, feel free to bring something from a shop. Just ensure you bring enough for others to try — no need to go overboard, a reasonable portion will do. Check how many people are attending to help you estimate, but don’t stress too much about quantities.

Remember, the venue doesn’t have facilities for reheating, so avoid food that needs to be cooked or warmed up. Whether homemade or store-bought, **all food must be 100% vegan**.

**Sweet or Savoury?**
It’s entirely up to you! Many people bring one of each, but there’s no obligation. Even something simple, like a dip, is more than welcome!

**What about allergies?**
Please be mindful of allergies and list the ingredients in your dish so everyone can enjoy safely. I’ll provide labels and pens at the venue if you need to write this information down when you arrive.
