Learn how to make your own vegan kimchi at home! This hands-on kimchi workshop, led by Kurt - an experienced fermenter, allows you to take home a quart of your own homemade kimchi.
Kimchi is a fermented Korean dish made of vegetables and spicy seasonings. It delivers natural, healthy probiotics that help feed the gut flora (microbiota), important for protecting our bodies and boosting our immune system.
The event will be held at my house in Sicklerville, NJ. Message me if you need my address and I'll send it to you before the event. I have a small house, so attendance will be limited. Please do not RSVP unless you are sure you can attend.
All attendees must bring:

- A small head of Napa Cabbage (at least 1 lb.)
- A second Kimchi ingredient which will be assigned to you a week or so before the event (Possible examples of ingredients you may be assigned include garlic, ginger, green onion, daikon radish, etc.)
- A quart mason jar with lid
- Cutting board
- Sharp knife
- Apron (if you are messy)
- Tote bag for carrying supplies and produce
