What we’re about
From Ventura to Ojai, Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo, the Central Coast is a beautiful place to live and visit.
Being vegan on the Central Coast can sometimes feel isolating, and there's nothing like the instant kinship you feel when meeting a fellow vegan. Let's get together and hang out, have some outdoor adventures, get the kids together to play, enjoy great vegan food, and support each other!
You don't have to be vegan to come to our meetups, you just have to have an open mind, be veg-curious, and be ready to have some fun!
If you are just visiting the Central Coast, I hope you'll join one of our meetups and hang out with us!
Future events may include Nature Walks, Hiking, Beach Days, Trail Running, Picnics, BBQs, Kids' Playdates, Doggy Playdates, Kayaking, Geocaching, Farm Sanctuary Visits, and more!
(Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend with them)
Join the group and spread the word!

We go to the Celebration for the Turkeys event every year, it's a wonderful tradition. We love supporting Farm Sanctuary and the important work they do fighting for farmed animal rights and vegan outreach.
It is so heartwarming to see the turkeys enjoy their Thanksgiving feast, inspiring to hear founder Gene Baur speak, and a joy to spend quality time with the rescued animals.
Plus the food is fantastic! Every year there is a vegan feast of epic proportions!
