A moderate 6-mile out-'n-back hike that starts at the same trailhead as Arizona Hot Springs and follows the same route for about a mile. We will then branch off, visit an abandoned manganese mine, visit the famous Liberty Bell Arch (trekking poles and gloves are recommended if you chose to climb up to the arch), and proceed to the Overlook about 800 feet above the Colorado River. After returning to the trail head, we will take a very short drive and explore Spooky Canyon, and then enjoy a tailgate potluck.

The primary focus of this winter series is to take advantage of the cooler temperatures to explore Lake Mead and surrounding areas. If I don't know you, be sure to fill out your Profile so I can see what your experience level is. This series is not for beginners. You should have a reasonable level of fitness for all of the hikes, and scrambling experience for some of the hikes.
