A letter to Members -
As Cindysue announced earlier, The Ventura County and Beyond Day Hikers has moved to Facebook and she has stepped down as MU Organizer. Dean, yours's truly, has stepped up to become the Meetup Organizer.
For the short term I will be cross-posting my hikes at Hiking with Dean and eventually ending this group to avoid unnecessary duplication. Meetup does not have a method for merging groups so I ask that you join my group -- Hiking with Dean -- if you are not yet a member. I see alot of familiar faces here.
A little bit about me....Next March will be the 18th anniversary of my hiking group. As founder and Organizer I have personally led over 900 hikes for about 100,000 hiker miles. My group is the 2nd largest hiking group in the world (on a per leader bases). Most of my hikes will be similar to the ones posted here.
