Monochromatic Night Moves

OK, we're going out for something a little different.
Firstly, we're going out after sunset. Shooting at night presents it's own opportunities and challenges, some that you wouldn't get in the daytime.

• The people look different (and they often behave different )
• The shadows are different
• The colors are different
• The whole mood of a place can change at night!

Secondly, these will be black & white photos only. If you have a digital camera that allows you to view your images in B&W while shooting, it'll be that much easier for you. Or you can convert them to B&W later.
If you're shooting film, well that one's obvious.

For those not comfortable walking around at night, bring a friend!
But of course the group can stick together as well.
Whatever you're comfortable with is fine.

I figured some group members may be more available in the evenings than during the day or weekends, so this one's for them. And if no one shows, I'll just remove it from the calendar after a few tries.

The location is downtown Ventura because there's always so much activity there. If you'd like to request a different evening or location, let me know. Again, I'm just trying to add variety to the group's events to include more member's schedules.
