Dollar Store Photo Challenge

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to visit your local dollar store and purchase any item for $1 (unless it's Dollar Tree, then it's $1.25...lame).

When you have successfully procured your $1 item, you must find a way to creatively and artistically use that item to make an image for the Dollar Store Challenge gallery. You can use the item in any way, but try to keep it at least partially identifiable (melting it or chopping it up would make it hard to tell what it was that you purchased).

Images should be created on the day of the event (Wednesday), and uploaded...well, sort of promptly. Don't wait 3 weeks or something.

There's lots of options for creating something worthy of the gallery!

• Indoors or outdoors
• Natural light or artificial
• Wide angle, macro, or super duper extra telephoto
• Still or in motion
• On fire or not on fire *
• Digital manipulations are ok
• Can you tell a story or support a cause?

This is not an in person activity, you’re just doing it yourself and sharing your work with others in the gallery.

So put on your thinking cap, head to the dollar store and pic something cool!
