Let's go West for a change. Nice ride through the countryside to a forested hike to a pebble beach for a picnic lunch with great views of the ocean and mountains.

Only if it is sunny and not too windy. Even at 8 C it can get quite warm on the beach as long as the wind is from SW to N. Otherwise we will do something else. You will be emailed through meetup if there is a change in plans.

Bring walking shoes for the 1 K hike through the woods. Travel light as you will want to carry your gear to the beach.

Brief stop at Mechosin to pick up lunch if you haven't brought something from home.
