Badminton Saturday at Racketworld U3 Kendlerstraße 11:30am-1:30pm

2 hours event (11:30 -13:30).

Hey Badminton Enthusiasts!

There will be tournaments and thereforere we can only get 4 courts from 11:30am.

This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts.

Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together!

Unfortunately, the location where we play, Racketworld, has raised the court price from 28th September. Therefore we will have to raise the participation fee to 12 euros for two hours. We are working on finding a better solution!

Please give 12€ to the organiser at the end of the event. You can pay in cash or by bank transfer.

We will reserve courts in advance - PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOU REALLY PLAN TO COME (OR CANCEL AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT STARTS).

We are meeting at about 11:25am next to the badminton courts. Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes and warm up. The locker rooms are free to use (but you need to bring your own lock if you want to lock your belongings). Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you (Viennese tap water is drinkable).

It is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). But there are usually spare rackets available in the group - please ask in the comment section below!

If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let us know that you are new and we will find a place for you. Don't worry, people in our group are open and friendly. We are sure you will enjoy playing with us!

P.S. There has been a COVID outbreak again around the world recently. If you happen to feel unwell, or suspect that you had contact with people who have caught Covid, please take the time to rest and join the events later. This means a lot to many immunoconpromised people, who could be any of us without being aware, as circumstances that can lead to long-COVID have been normalised despite the detrimental effects.
