What we’re about
This group is a space to meet people who are interested in learning more about Vietnamese language or culture. Orange County has one of the largest Vietnamese populations in the US, and this is a great opportunity to make new friends, learn where good Viet restaurants and places to go are, and practice speaking Vietnamese or English. We welcome any level of fluency for Vietnamese and English, and encourage practicing with one another.
This meetup group is just starting, so I am still figuring out things. As it grows bigger we will have a better understanding of what people would like to do, like whether we will stick with just hangouts, or have more social activities like dinners, hiking, etc. There are lots of great Vietnamese restaurants in the area that I would like to explore.
