Hey guys! This group is for anyone wanting an easy, relaxing way to get back into or stay in shape. I started this group to interact with other cycling enthusiasts, and to find partners to participate in the many organized cycling events throughout the city.
The group is open to all self-sufficient riders with basic bike handling skills. The average ride pace is 12 to 15 miles per hour for the entire ride, depending on the route's terrain. However, the "cruising" speed may be 15 - 20 mph on some flat terrains. The distance is 30 - 40+ plus miles depending on the route selected with various rest stops. No one gets dropped!
Ride routes will take us along bike paths, city streets and some highways. You don't have to be a competitive cyclist to enjoy the benefits of this group. We are here to motivate you, improve your fitness and make your rides more enjoyable. Hope to see you soon!
