What we’re about
We will get together for a variety of dance events in Virginia Beach. No partner needed.
Some of these will be package events in which various dance styles are taught during an earlier session and social dances are held afterwards. However we do not list stand alone dance classes in this group. The group is primarily for the purpose of finding social dancing in Virginia Beach or close by.
Some events will emphasize specific dance styles, such as Shag, Argentine Tango, Ballroom, West Coast Swing, or Latin Dance, whereas others will encompass all dance styles.
We do our best to keep spammers and other malicious people out of our group: We do not accept members with blank profiles and no picture; and we do not allow members to email the membership. If you wish to promote a dancing event on our group, this must be approved by a member of the leadership team. Likewise if you host related dances, contact the administrator to be added as an event organizer.

Get an early start to your Friday night dancing! Join us on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month for our Latin Night’s Dance Party. Bachata, Salsa & Merengue!
The Virginia Beach Dance Club and DanceSportVA present ‘Latin Nights’ on the first and 3rd Fridays of the month (Beginning May 17th). Admission includes not only the Latin dance in the dance club, but also the ballroom dance in the Main Ballroom of DanceSportVA. Please enter through the main entrance of DanceSportVA. You may come early and enjoy a beginner level ballroom dance class at 6:30pm followed by a second class at 7:30pm. Then dance Merengue, Salsa & Bachata in the dance club with our in-house DJ or Ballroom, Latin and club dancing with our in-house DJ in the main ballroom. Admission includes drinks (beer and wine) snacks, and lot of fun for just $15 per person.

A Time to Dance and DanceSport team up to bring this special Holiday Dance: Country & WCS in the Club and Ballroom in the main ballroom
The evening starts off with a Beginner group lesson at 6:30pm followed by a 20 minute practice session. Then at 7:30pm we will conduct a Beyond Beginner group lesson. Both classes are in the Main Ballroom.
Then at 8pm we begin our Country & WCS dancing in the Dance Club.
You may also dance ballroom in the Main Ballroom at DanceSportVA.
$20pp admission includes Beer/wine (21 and older), soft drinks, snacks, door prizes, the dance lessons, a dance performance, a fun contest and a fun night of social dancing. So, join us this Friday for an amazing night of dancing!
