Every Thursday evening, unless otherwise specified, this all-male identifying group meets at Sierra Vista Community Church (Pilgrim Hall) at 6:30 p.m. so guests and fellow singers arrive to mingle and chat. Then we start to set up risers.
At 7:00 p.m. we begin vocal warmups. By 7:15 p.m. we start working on our singing repertoire. We wrap up at 9:30 p.m. and strike the risers. When you visit, bring your water bottle and willingness to sing and learn the barbershop style of 4-part harmony singing and make new friends.
We pair guests with a guest songbook and a singing buddy for the evening with the expectation that the songbook is returned before the guest(s) leave. We run through songs and work at making the overall music sound better for both the singers and the audience alike.
If you love the experience and wish to join, we ask that you attend at least 3 rehearsals to express your commitment to join us on the risers. However, there is no pressure to join...only to have fun.
