Training & Games – With the Smashing Expats Women's Team! (Advanced Only)

Hello, Volleyball Lovers!
We’re excited to announce the new indoor volleyball sessions with the Smashing Expats DS1 team (recreational) for the 2024/2025 season. Whether you’re a returning member or a new player eager to join, we invite you to join our volleyball community this season.

Recruitment Information for Specific Teams:

• XR1 (Mixed Team): Interested in joining our XR1 mixed team? Contact Xiaoyu for details (training on Wednesday).
• H1 (Men's Team): Want to be part of our men’s team, H1? Reach out to Hoksha and Neville for more information (training on Wednesday).
• DS1/XR3 (Women's Team): If you are interested in our women’s team, DS1, please get in touch with Eleonora & Giota for additional details.

Important Updates:

• Location: Putseplein 20, 3073 HT Rotterdam
• NEVOBO Team Members: Current members will be available to answer any questions about the NEVOBO competition.

Event Overview:

• Preparation (7:30 PM to 8:00 PM):
• Arrive on time, dressed in gym shoes and sports attire (no outdoor shoes allowed).
• Set up the playing field, including the net and antennas, and check the attendance list.
• Drills (8:00 PM to 8:45 PM):
• Warm-up exercises with and without the ball.
• Coordination drills in pairs.
• Game situation drills, including attack strategies and court positions.
• Game (8:45 PM to 9:50 PM):
• Enjoy a friendly match.
• Stretching and Cooldown (9:50 PM to 10:00 PM)

Important Rules:

• RSVP and Payment: To ensure health and safety, please RSVP and complete payment by two days before the event. Payment details will be provided one week prior. The gym rental and training fee is €7 per evening (2,5 hours).
• NEVOBO Competition Fee: Members subscribing to the NEVOBO competition teams will be required to pay a full-season fee, with details communicated in August 2024.
• Precautions: Doors open at 7:45 PM and close at 8:00 PM. If you feel unwell or have flu symptoms, please do not attend. Maintain good hand hygiene, avoid handshakes, cough or sneeze into your elbow, and use tissues.
