Kayak Beautiful Deep Creek

Join me on this round trip paddle from the launch at RT 207 to Cracker Creek. Haven't been there since the storms but expect to see lots of native wildlife. Most of the trip is under an arching canopy creating dappled sunlight mixed with shade creating a spooky magical feeling of Old Florida. Great photographic opportunities! There are no facilities at the packed sand launch and once we go under the 207 bridge and the St Augustine/Palatka bike path bridge it'll seem like you're in the middle of nowhere. We'll launch at 9 so please arrive before 8:45. If you need more time setting up even earlier.

Bring all necessary kayak equipment including PFD that must be worn. Sunscreen, water, snack, hat and camera/phone. There're not many places to get out of the boat but there is a small island about 1.2 miles in.
