December's Walk - Mousehold Heath
Details
Please join us for our next group walk on Sunday 15th December.
Our friendly group is for people of all ages who have lost their life partners, and want to walk and talk with others in a similar situation who may understand how they are feeling. Our walks provide a safe space to share experiences, coping strategies, and companionship, while enjoying the beauty of nature.
We will meet at Norwich Viewing Point car park, Britannia Road, Norwich NR1 4HP. Please arrive ready for a prompt 9am start, and please carshare to get there if possible as parking may be limited – thank you.
The woods will be muddy and hilly, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The walk is about 3.5 miles, should take about 1.5 hours, and is unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Afterwards, we will have drinks etc at The Red Lion Bishopgate NR1 4AA.
As always, the walk is free to attend, but no dogs thank you, and please note that walkers take part at their own risk. Please also be aware that we are a peer group for mutual support, and that the event will not be led by trained grief counsellors.
Please RSVP (see below) as it helps us to manage numbers, and do message us if you have any questions at all.
