GRATITUDE CIRCLE: IROQUOIS PRAYER GIVING THANKS
Details
Greetings to the Natural World, a Thanksgiving Address"
A Gratitude Circle on Zoom
The Address comes to us from the Native people of the Iroquois, or Six Nations, known as the Haudenosaunee. As we read through this beautiful prayer of gratitude, we engage in a quiet, thoughtful mediation together. Then we will each share our personal thoughts in our talking stick way. The energy of gratitude is heart-expanding.
Please bring pen and paper with you.
Written in both English and Mohawk languages, the Thanksgiving Address is 16 short individual prayers of gratitude, all ending with the phrase, "Now our minds are one."
If you would like a copy of this Address, please order from Thanksgiving Address Fund, c/o The Tracking Project, PO Box 266, Corrales, NM 87048 or call 505-898-6967, or find it on-line.
