Come join us for our 5th annual New Year hike in Brendan Byrne State forest! What a great way to ring in 2023!! Expect to do around 6 miles at a slow/moderate pace with a short break at Pakim pond. We will start at the visitor center, take the Cranberry Trail to Pakim pond, and then the batona trail back. The trail is flat and sandy, expect it to be muddy so as always: bring water, snacks, bug spray, waterproof/resistant foot wear and dress for the weather!
