Wearing your Favorite Ugly Sweater is Highly encouraged for possible holiday treats 🍪
Celebrating National Ugly Sweater Day (actually 12/16) with a visit at the beautiful Millside Cafe for a quick coffee and/or treat.
This is an easy hike along the Sussex Branch Rail-Trail from Augusta Hill Rd to the Millside Cafe for coffee, snacks, treats of your choosing before turning back. Purchases at Millside Cafe is extra and not included with your $2 hike fee. We will be passing stream crossings and beautiful Sussex County farmlands along our journey. In the event of snow covered trails the distance may be modified.
Afterwards we Could meet locally for some after-hike lunch grub TBD during the hike.

**TRAIL RATING:** EASY/FAMILY Rail-Trail
**TRAIL TYPE:** Abandoned Rail-Trail, Mostly dirt/Cinder base
**DISTANCE:** 3 miles to Millside and 3 miles back. Total of 6 miles on flat Rail-Trail.
**COST:** $2 / Hikerbuddy

**Bring:** The Family!!! ...and a personal first aid kit, water, snacks, camera etc in a backpack.
Wear: Dress in layers for the weather. Closed toe shoe always a must. Hiking shoe is not necessary but recommended for this hike.

**AGREEMENT:** All Hikerbuddies & their guests agree apon joining this meetup to be responsible for only themselves and agree to hold no one for any losses or injuries while on this hike.
