5.5-mile walk around Bestwood Lakes and Country Park

Walk in and around Bestwood Country Park beginning at the Moor Bridge tram stop car park. We'll walk to Bestwood Lakes first, then through Bestwood Village to Bestwood Country Park past the winding engine house and along paths through woods, returning along the old railway line to Moor Bridge.

The threes bus runs every 20 minutes from Victoria Centre bus station and the stop you want is Aston Drive near the tram stop. Trams from the city centre to Hucknall stop at Moor Bridge. Parking at Moor Bridge is only for tram users.

There are over 1700 members in the Walking Friends Group & we all have our own local knowledge of places to walk. If there’s anyone out there that really wouldn’t mind leading a walk for a couple of hours on a Sunday in areas that you know please get in touch. It doesn’t matter if things go a bit wrong, it’s just a walk, nice & chilled. Will co host along side 😊
