Mount St. Louis Moonstone 3 - "FLY ME TO THE MOON" NIGHT SKIING

All right, you ski enthusiasts! WE'RE BACK! Who's excited?

Summer is over! Winter is here and it's time to savor Mother Nature's powder!

The bright lights! The allure and magical aura of the star lit evening sky!

The crispy snow and the invigorating fresh air!

Who can forget those hilarious hijinks and memorable mishaps from last year (check out the pictures!)

There is nothing like “Night Skiing”!

So, we're doing it again (3rd time's a charm) this year!

It's only a 90 minute drive from Toronto!

The night skiing will commence at 4 pm and end at 9 pm.

Why night skiing? You'll get more ski runs in 5 hours of night skiing that you would during the full day skiing hours. Plus, you'll be very tired after 5 hours of skiing. And it's cheaper!

You can order your lift tickets and obtain ski rentals individually online through the website (remember we are night skiing) or you can purchase them at the resort when you arrive. I would recommend purchasing these online as it can be quite a wait to purchase them on site - they can be purchased online on the day that we ski.

Adult lift tickets (4 pm to 9 pm) are $67 plus tax = $75.71

Adult Ski Equipment Rentals (4 pm to 9 pm) are $54 plus tax = $61.02

I would suggest arriving by 3 pm to situate yourself and pick up your ski rental equipment/lift tickets. It's get's busy prior to the 4 pm night skiing start time.

I will offer ski lessons once again for those who would like it. The beginner lessons will be at the Magic Slope and KInder Slope (found on the trail map).

We'll meet at the Mount St. Louis Base Chalet (NOT the Moonstone Base Chalet).

We can reconvene at 9 pm and decide if we would like to go eat somewhere afterwards - trust me, you'll be hungry!

“Some resorts only have one bunny or beginner hill. You need multiple bunny hills so you can work your way up, rather than going from one extreme to another. **Mount St Louis Moonstone has the most beginner terrain in Ontario and is without a doubt the best place to learn**.”

They also offer a beginner ski package that includes a ski/snowboard rental, a group lesson and a “BEGINNER” SKI LIFT TICKET (Beginner Lift Ticket allows you on the following lifts: A1, A2, B, C, G and J ONLY) for $117 plus HST ($131.08).

I will be renting a sedan that can accommodate 4 including myself (so 3 passenger seats are available @ $30 apiece). Oh, the camaraderie and bonding that will take place - great stepping stones for future friendships!

Let’s meet across from the front entrance of the Broadview Subway Station Station for 12:30 PM and we'll aim aim to begin our journey at 12:45PM . We should arrive at Mount St. Lous at approximately 3 PM. Message me if you want one of the 5 spots in the van.

We'll make rest stops to stretch and accommodate Mother Nature.
