Merry Christmas everyone!

We’re going to reprise our popular Christmas walk from year's past.

Yes, we are back for the 5th running of this highly anticipated walk that passes through arguably the most ornamented and decorated streets in Toronto .

It's ostentatious & bodacious so let's be audacious!

I know that we’ll see you there!

Our theme is red - augment your outfit with any shade - auburn, burgundy, cardinal, cerise, cherry, claret, coral, crimson, dubonnet, foxy (my favourite), fuchsia, grenadine, magenta, maroon, poppy, rose, ruby, russet, scarlett, strawberry and don’t forget vermillion!

Our convoy of Christmas carolers will leave Castle Frank subway station and head northwards, meandering through the prestigious neighborhood of Rosedale. The streets will feature a dazzling display of lights and decorations.

At McClennan Avenue, we'll cross a bridge that spans a set of railroad tracks, leading us into the northern portion of Rosedale. It's here that we'll pass through Toronto's most Christmasy (yes, that's a word!) street, Inglewood Drive. The street, known affectionately as "Kringlewood", is home to a long row of giant inflatable Santas (over 60 of them at last count!).

Rosedale, Chorley and Whitney Parks will provide us with some serene locations for breaks.

Afterwards, we can retire to some cozy, warm eatery to celebrate the festive season.

Bundle up - it's getting cold out there! Don't forget to bring warm footwear with good traction and hot beverages!

We'll take short periodic breaks throughout the route to consume our hot beverages. We'll be on the lookout for take out establishments that offer concoctions to maintain toasty body temperatures.

We should arrive back at the Castlefrank Subway Station for 9 pm.

If anyone is interested, we can cap the evening with a meal at a local restaurant in the Broadview/Danforth Area.

We'll maintain a 3.5 to 4.0 Km/hour pace.

We meet for 6 45 pm and we leave at 7:00 pm at the very latest.

If you don’t think you will arrive by 6:45 pm, please text me (not call) at 416 807 7596 using Whatsapp and I will allow you access to my phone’s location and you can meet up with us.

If you need a ride to the Meetup, try leaving a message on the Meetup message board. I've found there are many generous people in the group who I believe would be glad to be of assistance. If you need a ride after the Meetup, just ask around - nobody gets left behind!
