Outerbelt trail- Allison Woods to Dam Woods

Note the walk begins at 10:00 AM.
Well, old friend winter looks like you're back. Forecast calls for low 20's when we start. Dress for the weather - good hat - probably not as cool as Bob's hat but make it warm, good gloves, and layer up.

We meet at Allison Woods where we turned around last week. NOTE-NOTE-NOTE. Last time we were here in the winter the parking lot was chained shut. If that happens again there is a very large parking lot at the Hilton Chicago Northbrook. We've parked there before without any issue. Going to be nippy until we get going.

Found the attached photo from the first walk on this trail back in 2020. If you've walked with us a lot you should recognize 2 of the people - Bob and Kym. Actually, there are 6 members in the photo - I believe the 2 ladies on the right are Jenny and Shelly. Ken is next to Bob plus Bob's hat is the 6th member. Unfortunately, Bob's hat is no longer with us.
