Share accommodation has been booked at the Tauherenikau Racecourse for Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November. The ranch house offers a range of room configurations, double, twin and a limited number single.
It is also possible to camp or motorhome in the [course camp facility](https://www.tauherenikau.co.nz/motorhome-and-caravan-park/), adjacent to our accommodation. Powered sites are $40 and non-powered $30 and you can book online through the course booking system, but the course managment would like to have a record of those belonging to our group. Note this when booking with them. Also I need to know, and if you want to join the shared meal then you will need to pay me your contribution.

From this base it is planned to run a number of walks in the Wairarapa, with a range of fitness levels. These trips will be listed by the leaders and will be listed once the leaders have finalised them. You will need to book onto those individual trips as well as this list. There may also be impromptu activities and walks planned while we are there. We hope to have some easy, moderate and challenging walks.

Don’t expect to walk in to 5 star accommodations here, but do expect to enjoy the peace the ranch house offers. The accommodation includes tea and coffee making facilities, a large kitchen and dining room with separate shower and toilet facilities. We will provide an optional shared meal on Saturday night. BYO breakfast, lunch and snacks. Tea, coffee and cows milk is provided. BYO wine, beer etc. Friday night make your own feeding arrangements - takeaways, local pub or cafe, picnic etc.

Costs:
Accommodation is $90 per person for the trip, with $25 per person for the shared meal. If you cancel there will be no refund, however you can transfer your booking to another person booking for the trip.

We have accommodation for 25 people for that night.

RSVP.
When you register for the trip your name will go on to the waitlist and within 2 days I will contact you with bank account details. Once you have paid I will move you to the going list and you should get a message confirming the place. Get in early as I will close the list as soon as it looks like we have the full number, it can take a while for people to confirm once they are on the wait list. If RSVPs are closed and you are keen to come then add a comment to let me know and if spaces are available I will get back to you.

Ride shares from Wellington can be arranged through the comments section. Leave a message if you are looking for a ride or can offer a ride.
This will be arranged with the particular walks that you choose from other leaders. Suggested koha for transport from and to Wellington is $15
