Cooksbridge to Southease stunning River Ouse walk featuring Lewes

A most wonderful 9 mile walk along the River Ouse starting in delightful Cooksbridge and featuring wonderful historical Lewes which we shall have time to explore at lunchtime !

Meeting by the ticket office please arrive by 9.05am and we shall buy group train tickets and then take the 9.48am train that arrives at Cooksbridge at 10.53am.

The walk shall start immediately.

Train ticket : return to Southease.

Meetup fee £10 payable in cash or £7 non refundable by bank transfer in advance, details supplied by private message.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes / boots/ trainers.

You should have adequate and appropriate insurance and be able to walk at 2.5 miles per hour.

We shall need to leave Lewes at 2pm to continue the walk so that we can take the train back from Southease at 4.05pm that arrives back at 5.33pm after changing at Lewes.
