**WALK DESCRIPTION**
It's that time of year! We invite our Walkstars friends to join us for a Holiday Season walk in the Lynn Valley area. We'll end the walk at Dawn and Paddy's common room nearby for some treats, mulled apple cider and good cheer.

*There are some of you on the injured list and we'd love to see you too. If you can't manage the walk, RSVP "going" but send Dawn a message so that she can manage the attendees.*

*Please respect the friends on the waitlist and aim for zero no-shows on this event - Santa is watching! However, if you are sick Santa understands that you won't attend - change your RSVP right away and message Dawn please.*

**FOOD:** Please bring some finger-food to share. Beverages provided. Plates, napkins and cups provided. **DURATION**: Walk 1.5 - 2 hrs; social following.

**WALK DIFFICULTY LEVEL:** Easy - weather dependant

**COMMUNICATION:** Use "Comments".

**DONATION:** Optional donation to Covenant House.

**ATTENDANCE RULES:** NO GUESTS - sign up as a member to participate. If space is available and with prior permission of the host we will permit out-of-town guests and one-time only in-town guests who want to check us out. The group will only wait 5 minutes for latecomers.

**WAIVERS:** By clicking "YES" to this event you agree to assume both physical and health liability and you agree to the photo waiver described in "About Us".

**GEAR UP:**
Sturdy shoes, waterproof if rainy
**Please bring indoor shoes to wear in the Common Room**
Walking poles are recommended
Dress for the weather conditions

**DOGS:** Sorry, this event is not suitable for dogs. (Even though they'd love the food!)

**HOW TO FIND US:**
Meet outside Delany's Coffee Shop on the inside of Lynn Valley Village (by the library).

Park on a side street such as East 29th, Fromme Road or Ross Road. Avoid the parking lots which will be monitored at this busy shopping time.

The walk will end nearby at The Laurels, 1150 Lynn Valley Road - use code 56 (Dawn) or 35 (Paddy). Alternately, call 604 787 8123 (Dawn), 604 377 2544 (Paddy). If we don't answer, call back as it can be hard to hear our phones. The common room is immediately to the right as you enter the lobby.
