**DESCRIPTION**
Celebrate the festive month with an ocean-side walk starting at at the *Festival of Lights' Forest of Miracles* at Dundarave beach.

This is the largest outdoor display of Christmas trees in coastal British Columbia, lovingly decorated by families, community groups & businesses, stretching across West Vancouver's waterfront.

Each tree is a beacon of hope, calling us to support the life-saving work of the [Lookout Foundation](https://lookoutsociety.ca/what-we-do/) in our community.

**WASHROOMS:** At the start and midway.

**DIFFICULTY LEVEL:** Easy. About 7 km. Flat paved surface.

**DURATION**: 2+ hrs

**DONATION:** $1 optional donation, Today we will send a donation to the Lookout Foundation.

**COMMUNICATION: Use "Comments"**

**ATTENDANCE RULES:** NO GUESTS - sign up as a member to participate. If space is available and with prior permission of the host we will permit out-of-town guests and one-time only in-town guests who want to check us out. The group will only wait 5 minutes for latecomers.

**WAIVERS:** By clicking "YES" to this event you agree to assume both physical and health liability and you agree to the photo waiver described in "About Us".

**GEAR UP:**
Sturdy shoes, waterproof if rainy
Walking poles are recommended
Dress for the weather conditions - it will be cold along the ocean.
Water
Small first aid items e.g. bandaids
Bug repellant/sunscreen in season

**DOGS:** Well behaved dogs with good owner supervision are welcome. Follow posted rules about leashing.

**HOW TO FIND US:** Meet at the end of 25th Street, West Vancouver between the Beach Cafe and the Beach House Restaurant. Parking lot on Bellevue.
