Have you been thinking about joining a Wander Women walk? Would you like to start walking more and spend time exploring beautiful north Devon with likeminded lovely people? If you have been following the group and want to find out more, then join us for a new year, slower paced, beach walk enjoying beautiful views of the north Devon coastline and Taw/ Torridge estuary. Option to stay for coffee/ drinks at the Fairway Buoy at the end of the walk.

Meet at Westward Ho! Slipway car park at 10am.

Start/ Finish: Westward Ho! Slip Way car park EX39 1LL.
Distance: 3.1 miles (5km)
Route type: Out and back
Grade: Easy
Terrain: Beach and concrete slipway – sand with surface water in places, exit from slipway onto beach can be rocky.
Toilets: Next to Westward Ho! Slipway car park.
Parking: Numerous car parking available in Westward Ho! and on Northam Burrows. Please check individual car parks for fees and restrictions.

Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks.
