What we’re about

Firstly, welcome to Warwick Games Cafe!

If you enjoy playing board games, or would like to learn to play, then we can certainly help. We meet at St Mike's Church Centre in Hampton Magna, 7:00pm until 9:30pm.

We currently run on certain Mondays each month, so please read the descriptions carefully. If you would like to come along, please click attend so we know how many we have coming and won't start all the games without you.

1st Monday of the month. Strategy night. For these nights you will need to book in advance, and watch a rules video if you're unfamiliar with the game. Please turn up at 7pm ready to start the game.

2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, Social Games night. These nights will be turn up and play. You won't need to book in to play a game, and we can teach games on the night. Instead, turn up for 7:00pm, have a look at the choice of games we have to offer or bring your own.

We started off as a group of friends and we really enjoyed playing board games together! The group has now grown considerably, but we like to think we are still a friendly bunch. You’re welcome to bring your own games too!

For your first night there is no cost, after that it's £2 per night.

We're a friendly group who meet at 7pm every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at St Michael's Church Hall . It’s an evening where we have fun playing board games, cake, coffee and chatting. If you have any questions, just drop us a message.

Your first time at Games Cafe is free, thereafter it’s £2 per night just to support the group moving forward. We can take payment either by cash, card or online.

Join our monthly Blood on the Clocktower game! We gather from 7pm to 10pm, welcoming both newcomers and seasoned players. Each month, we dive into a mix of scripts, from classic Trouble Brewing to custom ones if the group’s up for a challenge.

Please arrive promptly at 7:00 PM to ensure we can fit in two full games.
Advance sign-up is essential. Due to limited space, please register in advance.

Please note that access to the event space is by stairs only.

We play a variety of scripts, including the base three and more complex custom games. It’s recommended that players have some experience with Blood on the Clocktower, but if you're new, check out this 10-minute game overview to get a feel for the rules and strategies: Game Overview

£2 fee on the day direct to the venue, card preferred.

Event Information
If you enjoy discussion, puzzle-solving, and a bit of playful deception, this event is right up your alley! Whether you're new to social deduction games or a seasoned player, this session is specially geared toward newcomers, and you’ll have the chance to play alongside experienced players who are ready to guide you. I’ll be there as your host (or "Storyteller") to explain everything and run the game for everyone.

What to Expect: Similar to games like Werewolf or Mafia, Blood on the Clocktower is a team-based game for 7 or more players, with one player secretly chosen as the "demon." The demon’s goal? Stay hidden, eliminate the townsfolk one by one, and outwit the group. The town’s mission? Uncover the demon’s identity, identify their minion(s), and execute them to save the town!

💀 Every player has a unique character ability that may help reveal the demon's identity. Plus, even if you “die” in the game, you're not out—you still play an active role in the mystery!
