Smooth Jive Class & Social Dancing - WED Weekly

Learn to dance in no time!

Smooth Jive is an improvisational partner dance style, a variant of Modern Jive.
It is a fun and easy-to-learn partner dance that is perfect for social events, can be danced in virtually any setting and to any music. Whether you are completely new to dance or have experience in other dance forms, you're welcome to come and have fun with us 💃🕺😊

Classes are drop-in, every Wednesday. They are beginner friendly, and rotational, so you don't need to book in advance or bring a partner.

• Venue: Shenton Park Community Centre, 240 Onslow Road, Shenton Park
• Schedule:

7:00pm: doors open
7:15pm: beginner's class
7:45pm: social dancing
8:15pm: advanced class
8:45pm: social dancing

• Cost: $15 for the whole night, or $10 with a WASDA Active pass. Cash or electronic payment at the door.

Also note that we have a Social Dance Party every 1st Saturday of each month from 6:30pm, same venue. A great way to practice and meet more dancers.
