Welcome to the Washington Language Exchange Meetup! This group is for anyone interested in practicing and improving their Chinese, Japanese, or English language skills. Whether you are a native speaker looking to help others learn, or a learner wanting to practice with others, this group is for you. We will have fun and engaging language exchange events where members can chat, learn, and make new friends. Meetup Group Code of Conduct
To ensure a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members, we have established the following rules:

Respectful Communication: Treat all members with respect and kindness. Harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

No Harassment: Harassment includes unwanted attention, intimidation, or any other behavior that makes someone uncomfortable.

No Multi-Level Marketing (MLM): Members are prohibited from promoting, recruiting, or soliciting for multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or similar business models during events or in group discussions.

No Aggressive Selling or Recruiting: While networking is encouraged, aggressive sales tactics or recruitment pitches are not allowed.

Personal Boundaries: Respect personal boundaries and privacy. Seek explicit consent for photos, tagging, or sharing personal details.

Inclusive Environment: Everyone is welcome regardless of race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or background. Discriminatory or exclusionary behavior is prohibited.

Constructive Participation: Engage positively in group activities and discussions. Avoid behaviors that disrupt the event or make others feel unwelcome.

Report Issues: If you experience or witness any inappropriate behavior, inform the organizer or group leadership immediately for resolution.
By participating in this group, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. Failure to comply may result in removal
from events and/or the group.
