What we’re about
Founded in 2002, the Washington Jesuit Academy (WJA) provides a tuition-free middle school education and intensive college and career readiness support to young men of color from under-resourced communities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. WJA’s mission is to provide a high-quality, comprehensive education that advances students’ intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Overall, WJA aims to empower young men to achieve their long-term academic, professional, and personal goals so they can overcome educational and socioeconomic disparities.
