Workshop - Lighting and Posing the Nude

Winter is coming...with shorter days and cold weather.

So, it's a good time to move indoors and learn how to use studio lighting!

Our three hour workshop is an introduction to glamour, boudoir and fine art/figurative photography for those who are interested in learning the basics of lighting and posing the nude, and want to increase their command of lighting to work independently with a live model and lighting set-ups.

You will also see examples of the work of great photographers who have contributed to this genre, such as Edward Weston, Ruth Bernard, Robert Farber, Helmut Newton, and Gary Breckheimer.

We will have Alex Balletina, as our art nude model for the workshop.
Alex is a model and professional dancer, so she offers a great variety of looks to the workshop.

You can see Alex's portfolio at: Fine Art Nude Portfolio

You can also see examples of our photography and models from past workshops at: Carriage House Workshops

C. Posing the Model / Shooting an Art Nude Portfolio- key guidelines for directing model; shoulders, hips, hands, legs, feet, and face- the difference in poses for glamour, boudoir and fine art nude photography- posing guide prepared in collaboration with our top models.
