A Castle, A Roman Road & The Oldest Surviving Pub in England (Claimed).

Join Nick on this 7.5 mile circular walk from Bardsey passing site of ancient Castle, over Bardsey Beck through Hetchell Wood to Pompocali. Follow course of Roman Road over Stubbing Moor, down Kennels Lane to Thorner. Back up on Leeds Country Way passing Bingley Arms, claimed to be oldest serviving pub in England & back to cars.

Please wear suitable clothing, good walking boots & bring a packed lunch.

NB. We do NOT allow dogs on our walks.

We meet 10.00-10.15 am ready for a 10.30 am start.We charge a day fee of £1/walk or £10/yearly membership.
