I can be utterly myself when I'm drawing or making art.
Being part of an artistic community is one of the great joys of life,
While I'd like to introduce myself as a self-taught artist, I'm really just a passionate hobbyist. (Don't expect me to teach you, but I'm happy to share my experiences.)
Creating art can be quite solitary, and it's sometimes hard to stay motivated on our own.

I am excited to announce our first event!The National Museum of Korea is a hidden gem in Seoul, boasting many stunning spots. We'll meet in front of A Twosome Place at the museum and explore together. Don't miss the Pagoda Garden, which features a variety of pagoda styles.
We draw to see better.
When drawing, you may uncover connections you would never have noticed by just passively looking. Drawing allows us to internalize our experience of a subject, capture its essence, and in a way, make it our own.

It doesn't matter what material you use as long as it suits you.We're visiting one of Seoul's most renowned palaces, Deoksugung.
It offers a tranquil oasis in the bustling city. Drawing—or even taking thoughtful photographs—helps us see the familiar with fresh eyes. It's one of the most direct ways to engage with the world by making it strange.We'll meet just inside the gate (you'll need to purchase a ₩1,000 admission ticket at Daehanmun), as the royal guard changing ceremony will be taking place in front of the gate at that time. After introductions, we'll explore whatever inspires you. Feel free to open your sketchbook or ready your camera—there are no strict rules to follow.
This weather is perfect for unleashing our inner artists! Let's step into a different role for 1.5 hours. Set aside your judgments and focus solely on what you see.
The act of seeing itself can be a creative process!

It was home to Gojong, the second-to-last Joseon Dynasty king, who ruled from 1863 to 1907 and ultimately died there. After 1910, during the Japanese occupation, the palace grounds were converted into a public park. This transformation reduced the territory to one-third and the number of buildings to one-tenth of the original size.

Have you ever visited a serene park early in the morning?
Seonyudo Park was once a small mountain peak in the middle of the Hangang River, praised by artists and poets during the Joseon Dynasty for its striking scenery. During the Japanese occupation, it was destroyed to build roads. It served as a water purification plant supplying tap water to Seoul from 1978 to 2000. Now, it is one of the most beloved parks and has been awarded as one of the most beautiful parks by architects.
Let's experience the accumulated history of this place and capture it in your sketchbook, notepad, or smartphone! Enjoy your time there and share with us what you felt and marked.
We'll meet on the "lawn" near the management office and discuss at "Cafeteria Naru". (Please refer to the red rectangle in the main banner.)
