Waddesdon Manor and Windmill Hill

A beautiful circular walk of around 9 to 10 miles !

Waddesdon Manor is the most stunning large 19th century French chateau that is NT owned and managed by the Rothschild Foundation.

We shall not be visiting the chateau itself but the walk will give us fabulous views of its exterior.

We shall be encountering a modest hill en route and shall visit the Stables Cafe mid afternoon.

Please arrive by 10.20am as to buy group return tickets to Aylesbury Vale Parkway and we shall take the train at 10.57am that arrives at 12.03pm.

Train ticket : Return to Aylesbury Vale Parkway

Meetup fee in cash or by bank transfer : £5.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes or trainers plus sunhat, suncream and sunglasses.

You should have adequate insurance for this type of activity plus be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour.

We shall aim to take the 5.35pm train back that arrives at 6.49pm.
