Prairie Mountain and Prairie Creek Loop Hike.

Let's go for a Hike in Kananaskis which is one of the best spots with stunning views. The event is weather dependent.

Trail Name: Prairie Mountain and Prairie Creek Loop (Click the link for the Alltrails Route.)

Meeting point Location: Elbow Falls Parking Lot (Click the link for the parking lot location.) at 8:00 am.

We will start the hike by 8:30 am so please be there on time by 8 am. So we can start the trailhead by 8:30 am.
After the hike we can head to any restaurant/cafe nearby to have food/snacks.
What you should know if you want to join this hike:
Trail Details:

Distance: Approx. 10.94km (Loop)
Elevation gain: Approx. 778 meters
Time: Approx. 4 hours.

Trail Description: From the parking lot, we will make our way to the Prairie Mountain Trailhead. We will make our climb up to the summit, taking advantage of the new switchbacks. We will take as many breaks as needed along the way. We will enjoy the summit views, and then descend down the rear side of the mountain to Prairie Creek. We will follow Prairie Creek back to the parking lot.

Things to carry:
· appropriate clothing / layers - Dress warm - carry layers so you can remove and add layers as needed. No cotton, no jeans.
