Hello everyone,
Pull into Salmon Brook Park, and bear right towards the dog park. We will meet there at 10:00 AM. We will cross the bridge over Bissell Brook and up to the start of the North Trail. This loop hike is considered moderate with some elevation and ups & downs. Total distance should be about 4-4.5 miles. This trail will take us up to the Stony Hill Forest view. We will continue on to scenic Spring Pond and the shelter. We will return on the Brook Road Trail, past the Mclean cabin and trout pond to complete the loop back to salmon brook. Please bring plenty of water and snacks. Hiking poles are recommended. Please wear proper hiking attire (no jeans or sneakers) and as always, we start as a group and finish together. the weather looks nice, hope to see ya on sunday.
