What we’re about

Our club is part of the Association of Speakers Clubs. We meet in Aylesford which is close to the Mid Kent towns of Maidstone, Medway and Malling. Our aim is to help members improve their self-confidence, public speaking and communication skills.
It could be to help you at work, in social settings, family life or for a special event. All skill levels are welcome.
Work at your own pace in a friendly and supportive environment.
The first two meetings are free, nothing to prepare and no need to book.
We usually meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month in person. Check out individual meeting information for specific details.

An evening to improve speaking competence and build self-confidence in a friendly supportive environment.
As a guest you can simply spectate, but if you wish to participate, then that is warmly welcomed too.
There will be a programme for the evening where everyone will get a chance to take part if they wish.
Members help with roles such as being the meeting chairman, speaker, time-keeper and evaluator which helps to improve listening, thinking and leadership too.
The first two meeting are free, nothing to prepare, no need to book. Just come along.

They are a blend of impromptu speaking, educational workshops and prepared speeches.
They help your confidence, speaking, listening, evaluating and thinking.
You can work towards speaking certificates at your own pace if you wish, but there is no pressure to do this.
Nothing to prepare, no need to book. First two meetings are free.
Parking onsite or in close by village car parks.
Arrive from 19:15pm for 19.30pm start.
