Adoptees GR Festival and Comedy Night

Join us for an opportunity to have some fun in November with other adopted people, friends and family. We will start at DeVos Place at the Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer & Food Festival, and then walk to or meet up at Dr. Grins Comedy Club at 9:00pm located inside 'The Bob.'

Now in it's 17th year, this Festival has established itself as Michigan’s annual tasting event, measured by more than 1,200 wines, beers, ciders and spirits from around the world, along with creations from the area’s finest restaurants. From the connoisseur who lives and breathes for the finer things in life to the novice looking for an introduction to the world of food and spirits, this Festival will deliver a grand experience that is sure to please every palate. It is $25 per person and taste tickets are $.50 each. You get a wrist band and a complimentary glass for tasting and will need to purchase taste tickets that can be used to try sample pours of drinks and foods. The Festival runs until 9pm so we will leave early to head down to Dr. Grins Comedy Club

You may purchase tickets online until 90 minutes before show time, but we recommend you purchase them ahead of time if you plan on attending. We will be going Friday night at 9:45pm to see "The Rudicks." Leah Rudick is an actor, writer & comedian whose viral comedy videos on TikTok and Instagram have amassed over a million followers and counting. Best known for her “Wealthy Woman” character, an oblivious but lovable billionaire who delights in middle class adventures. Andrew Rudick is a nationally touring standup comedian, writer and actor. One of the fastest rising comedians in the Midwest, he has been featured on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Show. His debut comedy album debuted at the top of the Apple Music charts and can be heard regularly on SiriusXM. Combining a midwestern charm and high-energy absurdism, Andrew’s stand-up is a frequent hit both on stage and across social media. This is a special event to see this dynamic duo, tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.

Sign up to come to one or both of these events. We will meet inside the main entrance at DeVos at 5:30pm to purchase wrist bands and tickets. At The Bob / Dr. Grins - you can find us by the entrance to at Dr. Grins at 9:00pm and at 9:15 we will get seats.
