Contra & Squares! - Country Dance

Come join us (I will actually not be there, because my family is taking my father to Iceland for the week of Thanksgiving, but many others will be there : ) ) Contra and Square dancing at the Oshtemo Grange Hall! A skills workshop will be taught to beginners and those who could use a refresher starting at 7pm and the dance proper will begin at 7:30pm. Throughout the evening, prior to each song the 'caller' reviews the steps for the next dance.

For the January 27th dance, we will have tunes by Eric Zorn, Caleb Hofheinz and Marilyn Branch. This will be an "open mic" night with various callers. (Leave a chat message by Jan 13th if you want to be considered as a guest caller.)

This is a regular dance that happens twice a month. So there will be many other people dancing, no matter how many sign up to this meetup.

There is a suggested donation of $5 to $15 cash to help pay for the rent of the hall. It is so fun, a donation is well worth it!
