“3D Photography”
presented by GRCC Member Mike Mitchell
Mike Mitchell will review the history of stereo photography as
well as demonstrate gear and the software necessary to capture and display 3D images.
Mike is a passionate photographer specializing in landscape and studio photography. With a keen eye for detail and a love for capturing the natural beauty of the world, Michael has been honing his skills since the age of 9 or 10. Over the years, He has developed a unique style that combines technical precision with artistic vision, creating stunning visual narratives that transport viewers to the heart of the scenes they depict. Recently retired after a distinguished 30-year career as a staff photographer for a large Midwestern retailer, Michael now dedicates his time to personal projects and sharing his expertise through teaching and presentations. His work primarily focuses on landscape and stereo photography, where he continues to explore new techniques and push the boundaries of his craft. His work has been featured in various exhibitions and publications, showcasing his ability to capture the essence of the natural world in a way that is both captivating and thought-provoking.
Following our program we will have a short social time. We will conclude the meeting by showing the November Competition images.
Guests are always welcome at our meetings, however we do ask for a $5 guest fee to help defray our expenses. GRCC members are always free to attend.
