What we’re about
West of 50 is a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ older adults (ages 50+) to take an engaging class, try a new activity, attend a fun event, or find social support.
Run by The Center on Colfax, this community group hosts a wide array of weekly free events, such as drop-in coffee sessions, open art studio, meditation and yoga classes, craft nights, workshops on rediscovering intimacy later in life, support groups, and more.
West of 50 also hosts larger social events throughout the year, such as a community Thanksgiving dinner, a winter holiday party, a spring talent show, and a summer Tea Dance.
Join our MeetUp group to stay up to date on all of our upcoming events - we can't wait to welcome you to our community!
