What we’re about
Bicycle rides for all skill levels since 2012.
WVCBR was a group designed for the everyday rider. It allowed folks from all ability levels to come together and ride without egos.
Event activity level, route distance, ride surface and speed vary, based on group preference. The focus of this group is to promote a healthy lifestyle and year-round activity in a relaxed social atmosphere.
NOBODY GETS LEFT BEHIND. Helmets and hydration means are mandatory.
Use lights for any rides other than in bright daylight.

NEW RIDE!
Interested in getting your bike a little dirty? I AM!
Meet us at the Tres Rios parking lot is on 91st, South of the I-10 freeway. Here's the blurb from the City of Phoenix on how to get there:# Driving Directions (also, see map below)
16 miles SW of central Phoenix; go west on Papago Freeway (I-10) to 91st Avenue exit. Drive south for 5 miles to Broadway Road. Continue south for 1 mile to a small paved driveway on the right side of the road.
Park on either side of the driveway to avoid blocking the gate. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited.
Sorry, there are no restrooms, water fountains, garbage bins, or maintained trails at Tres Rios, so plan accordingly.Helmets are required, especially here... the terrain is hard pack and there are rocks and bumps and ruts you may run into... Bring a mountain bike if you like, or a gravel-specific bike... Our pace will be slow, and the loop we'll take is just over 5 miles. I plan on taking us around twice... but if you feel like leaving after one lap, no problem!
Also, bring hydration, and lots of it... the temps will be lower, but you still should push those fluids!
Bring at least one spare tube... you just never know, especially "out there" when a flat will get you. We'll have experienced mechanics on hand to help if you do get a flat, but please... bring a spare tube.
