What we’re about
Our purpose is to imagine and implement West Woodlawn gardens of all kinds – kitchen, backyard, school, church, community, indoor, outdoor, food, flowers, commercial, and their related food enterprises and markets; along the way to learn the meanings/methods of food security; to begin exploring increased household income via Green-Village-Building™ and answering the questions of The West Woodlawn Village Botanic Garden & Village Farm: how many households could we feed, how many businesses/jobs could we create, how many neighbors could we train/engage, how many gallons of stormwater could we divert? Yes we can be paid to be stewards of our land and restore our place in the world~!!
